South Simcoe Business Awards Handed Out

SOUTH SIMCOE - A celebration was held recently to recognize the best businesses South Simcoe has to offer. The awards recognize excellence, outstanding achievement and customer satisfaction in small, medium and large businesses in South Simcoe.

Several businesses were honoured at the 17th Annual Business Excellence Awards held Thursday, April 10, at the Innisfil Town Office.

Over 200 people attended this year’s event, which was hosted by the Town of Innisfil in partnership with Nottawasaga Futures.

Among the local winners are:

• Adjala-Tosorontio’s Sheldon Creek Dairy and Cookstown’s Dickey Bee Honey Inc. shared the Agricultural Award.

• The Circle Theatre in Alliston won the Green Transition Award.

• Angus Borden Music & Entertainment won the Customer Service Award.

• Sophie’s Sweets of Alliston won the Quality Award for Micro Business (one to nine employees).

Parsons ADL Inc. in Tottenham won the Quality Award for Small Businesses (10 to 24 employees). The Quality Award is presented to a business that successfully applies the principles of quality management in their search for customer satisfaction and financial success.

• Trillium Ford Lincoln Ltd in Alliston won the Quality Award for Medium Business (25 to 74 employees).

• Angus Borden Guardian Pharmacy won the Business Excellence Award.
